Hey Everybody:
🐺 My werewolf novel, The Great American Werewolf Story
🤖 My Sci-Fi short with Plotagon
🎬 The Screenwriting Gift for authors that keeps on giving
I have done a horrible job of keeping up with my Substack. I have not written a Substack in months. I have been busy with other projects.
My digital novel, The Great American Werewolf Story, is complete, and the entire book is now available for purchase. No more waiting for each new chapter to come out. It is all finished. Now is your chance if you have been waiting to read the entire book. If you don’t see that option, let me know, and I will see how I can fix it.
If you come upon a chapter that makes you want to stop reading, let me know. This was my first attempt at writing a digital novel, and I want it to be a good experience for my readers. I will look at those chapters if people talk about the same chapters. I will do a rewrite or brush up on the chapter.
It is quite a learning curve for those of you who have never tried to write a digital novel. It isn’t like writing a short story or book. You have to put in music, build the characters, FX, sound, etc. It took a while to get the hang of it, and it seemed like it took me forever for each chapter. Now, since I got the hang of it, I think it will be an easier process if I do it again.
My goal of making my film this year may have been too ambitious. So, I am making a film that will have a lower budget and film it in the woods behind my house. I am still trying to find investors for the other film, but I am also trying to find investors in this new film. Whichever one is fully funded first is the one that I will make.
I made a video of me going through the pitch deck. If you know anyone interested in investing in a horror movie, feel free to send the video to them. Or if they are just curious about it.
Or if you know someone interested in investing in the lower-budget film I will film in the woods behind my house, let me know too. I also have plans on making a $300 short film about the Civil War in the woods behind my house. There is a lot of history about the Civil War where I live. I guess the woods behind my house is the prime location until I can afford another location.
I have been playing around with Plotogan. It is fun to play with, and they have a free version if you want to check it out.
I will be making a lot of changes with my Substack soon. I hope you enjoy the changes and stick around. Let me know things you would want to see more or less of: behind-the-scenes story writing or film creation, short stories, horror movie articles, mysticism, and film scripts.
What are some projects you are working on? Let me know in the comments.
Glad you’re back . I enjoy your writing .
