“This little piggy went to Hades
This little piggy stayed home
This little piggy ate raw and steaming human flesh
This little piggy violated virgins
And this little piggy clambered over a heap of dead bodies to get to the top.”
― Neil Gaiman
Milly hung upside down, swinging back and forth. She had no idea how she would get out of this mess and why she was even in this mess to begin with. The chain lowered her back to the ground. She took the chain off her leg, and a wall opened.
Milly entered the wall opening leading to a long, dark corridor. She walked down the long dark corridor and felt squishy stuff under her feet. The stench was pungent, and Milly threw up a little bit in her mouth.
She continued to walk down the long dark corridor until she came to a large room. She could not see anything because it was so dark. The wall behind her closed, leaving her trapped in the large dark room. There were lanterns along the room walls that lit up after the wall closed.
The lanterns gave the large room an orange glow. Then, Milly realized what the squishy sound under her feet was. It was the remains of the insides of humans; there were intestines, hearts, livers, kidneys etc...… spread along the floor of the large room. The walls of the room were made of human bones and skulls.
An altar was at the front of the large room made of human skulls. Milly was nauseous, and her face turned pale. She then heard something step into the room. She could not see what it was but knew it was something big. She could feel it. It felt like something big was watching her.
“I’m sorry for whatever I did to offend you! Could you please let me go?” pleaded Milly.
Milly shook like a leaf. She heard breathing. Breathing that was approaching her. She then heard sniffing. A wind blew in the room, and lanterns became brighter. Milly heard an oink, and she saw what stood before her.
What stood before her was a large, gigantic pig. It looked like a monster one would see in a cheap 50s horror movie. The pig was dirty and muddy, and it stunk. A blanket was draped across the back of the pig, and the pig was wearing a golden crown. The pig was big. Really big. And the pig was hungry.
The pig charged and hit Milly, knocking the wind out of her, and slamming her into the wall. She crumbled to the ground. Both of her legs are broken, with the bones of her legs protruding out of her skin. She screams in agonizing pain as the giant beast plunges its snout into her stomach. Milly chokes on her blood as the giant beast feeds on her insides.
April wakes up. She is tied to a chair made of human bones. Her legs and arms have been tied to a skeleton chair with human tongues. She doesn’t realize it, but she is wearing a dress made of human flesh. John’s flesh! Her face is bruised and has a few scratches and cuts on it.
She is sitting at the head of a long wooden dining room table. The table has an array of vegetarian dishes, except for the centerpiece. The table’s centerpiece is a silver platter with a silver cloche.
At the other end of the table sits Eli. Eli’s hair is black and folded over to the side. His skin is pale, and he smiles a wicked grin. His hands are folded over. His lips are unusually red, like he is wearing lipstick. His eyes are gray with dark circles under the eyes like he hasn’t slept.
On the side of the table sits Fatty Steve. He is a 650 shirtless man wearing a diaper. He is also wearing the face of Milly, or what was Milly’s face, like a mask sown onto his face. And beside Eli stands Hannah, who looks at Eli like he is a God.
“Wake up, sleepy head. You have been invited to a feast,” said Eli.
April screams. Eli, Fatty Steve, and Hannah scream, too, mocking her.
“Where are my friends?” asked April.
“They have their part to play,” said Eli.
April realizes she is tied with human tongues and sitting on a chair made of bones. She realizes that Fatty Steve is wearing Milly’s face. April screams again, and they scream and mock her again.
“Why are you doing this?” asked April.
“Because you have been chosen, darling. You are favored of the Lord,” said Eli.
“You’re sick! Crazy!” yelled April.
“Not crazy. Just mad,” said Eli. “Don’t you remember me, darling? Those many years ago?” Eli said.
“I don’t remember you,” said April.
“I guess I was forgettable,” said Eli.
Eli slams his hand on the table. Hannah wickedly smiles and laughs.
“You have to remember!” said Eli.
“I don’t. Hannah?” said April.
“I know you are shocked. I must listen to what the master says,” said Hannah.
“Master?” said April.
“We have been looking forward to this for years,” said Eli, smiling an evil grin.
“Why? Looking forward to what?” said April.
“There is a time for everything. A time to live and a time to die. A time to laugh and a time to cry. A time to give a tall, skinny goth kid some bottled water and… Now do you remember?” said Eli.
“I gave you water?” asked April.
“Yes,” said Eli.
“I don’t remember,” said April.
“Liar!” yelled Eli.
Eli slammed his hand hard on the table. April burst into tears.
“How can you not remember… I know how. They brainwashed you,” said Eli.
“Who?” said April.
“The beautiful people. They made you believe that you are one of them. But you’re not. You may look like them, but you’re not of them,” said Eli.
“You’re crazy! What are you even talking about?” said April.
“High school,” said Eli.
“Highschool! Highschool! All of this is about high school!” said April.
“You never overcome the scars of high school,” said Eli.
“You do if you grow up. Let me go!” yelled April.
“They wronged me,” said Eli.
“Everyone is wronged in high school. That is just high school,” said April.
“Then this isn’t about high school. This is about an awakening. Yes, it is about being awake,” said Eli.
“I suppose you are going to bring about this awakening. This isn’t about being chosen or an awakening. It is about a lunatic cult led by a self-centered narcissist who never grew up,” said April.
“That is where you are wrong. It may look that way. That I am just a crazy fool, but I am more than that. I talked to the pig in the blanket. And with my help, I saw him grow from a pig in the blanket to a corn dog, a hot dog, a foot long, and a burst sausage. And in return, he is making me into a God,” said Eli.
“You’re crazy!” said April.
“You’re not afraid to say that to me. Aren’t you afraid I will kill you?” said Eli.
“I know you’re going to kill me. That’s why I said it. I want you to see who you are before you kill me. You’re not cool or enlightened. You’re pathetic. You are just a crazy wounded little boy with a massive ego and a Messiah complex,” said April.
Fatty Steve grunts.
“You think that’s funny, Fatty Steve,” said Eli.
Fatty Steve grunts again.
“Fatty Steve, poor stupid, dumb animal. At one time, he shined like a comet, and then he was no more,” said Eli.
Eli lifts the lid off the silver platter to reveal John’s cut-off head staring at April. April screams.
“Does this look crazy? And to think I did this for you!” said Eli.
April cries.
“I know it is sad, but there always must be a sacrifice to bring forth an awakening,” said Eli.
“Please just let me go. Let me go. I won’t tell anyone. I promise,” said April.
“I’m sorry. I can’t. Like it or not, you are part of this,” said Eli.
“Part of what?” said April.
“You’re the mother of the new world. And we have to feed the pig,” said Eli.
“The pig?” said April.
April hears something step into the room. She can’t see it, but she knows it is something big. Something big and isn’t human. April then hears an Oink.
