I’ve tried to make my stories fit the formula.
The three-act structure. The Hero’s Journey. All the things the books and experts say you have to do.

But the truth? Some of my stories never wanted to walk in a straight line.

They wanted to spiral.
To loop.
To wander.
To dream.

And when I finally stopped forcing them into someone else’s mold, I found something deeper, and maybe you’ve felt that too.

Why I Made This Course

The New Myths Course wasn’t born from a business plan. It came from one of those late-night creative rabbit holes—me, a cup of coffee, and a deep-dive conversation about where storytelling is heading.

I’ve always loved myth. Not just the stories, but the structure behind them—the why.

But as our culture shifts, so do the stories we need.
AI, fractured identities, spiritual hunger, digital communities... they’re all shaping the way we see ourselves and the stories we tell.

Some myths still hold power. But new ones are rising.
And I believe writers like us are being called to write them.
