Shaming is the worst way to direct an outcome, much a morally bankrupt clown. I agree with you. Once, I recall an acting coach speaking toward me as if not watching television was obscene. I prefer feature films, art house film, and indie film to to the hyped up films we are ā€œsupposedā€ to like. I read real physical books printed on paper. I want to hear the undiscovered music and see the lesser understood films more than the trend. Personally, I feel the psycho was on the other foot that day.

The malaise of conformity and herd mentality is off the hook nowadays, having grown worse with the onset of pandemic. It seems like the world has a bad case of expectations due to algorithms and polarization. We’ve been categorized, stereotyped, and dropped into buckets, lost faces and have become stats. Everything is a fight. It’s all kind of disgusting, and I feel with the push of AI upon us that it will persist, though will not find my direction.

You should not blame people if your film flops . That is being very immature and angry . People are different . Many people just have and interest in certain movies and some people a variety but the bottom line is if your film flops it’s because people didn’t like it so don’t blame others and don’t blame yourself . It’s a movie you wanted to make during that time so be proud of yourself and move on to your next film .
